Food Prices Wednesday (17/9) in Banten: Chili, Beef, and Onion Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (17/9/2025) at 10.24 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 5 increased and 20 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler eggs, packaged wheat flour, consumption salt, dried soybean (imported), and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, frozen buffalo meat (imported), consumption sugar, milkfish, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Consumption salt increased the most by Rp1,286 (13.44%) to Rp10,857 per kg. The price of corn at the farmer level decreased the sharpest by Rp6,500 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
