Fresh Chicken Egg Prices in North Maluku Highest Nationally (Friday, June 23, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of fresh chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 34,370 per kg, data as of Friday, June 23, 2023. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 34,150 per kg.

The daily price of fresh chicken eggs in modern markets in North Maluku was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 52,000 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh chicken eggs in this province is higher; previously recorded at Rp 27,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Papua, fresh chicken eggs were sold at Rp 41,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh chicken eggs in Gorontalo was Rp 41,150 per kg, North Sumatra Rp 37,950 per kg, and Bali Rp 37,750 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are nine provinces with fresh chicken egg sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh chicken eggs are North Sulawesi, Jambi, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
