Daily Prices of Curly Red Chilies at Traditional Markets in West Papua Province Have Fallen 44.62% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in West Papua Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp81,250.

Meanwhile, the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in West Papua over the past three months has fallen by 33.33%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in West Papua Province is traded at Rp67,500.

The record high for the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2018 with an increase of 84.62%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in December 2018 with a decrease of -54.17%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Papua show 12 commodities decreased and 14 others increased. Basic commodities with decreased prices are Fresh Layer Eggs, Green Chili Peppers, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Chili Peppers, Grade II Rice, Curly Red Chilies, Chicken Eggs, Red Chilies, Red Chili Peppers, Grade I Rice, and Large Red Chilies.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price developments over the past month in West Papua Province:

8. Green Chili Peppers per Kg Rp74,000 per kg (down 4.52%)
