Latest Food Prices in East Java: Fish Up, Wheat Flour Down (Wednesday, December 6, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (6/12/2023) at 12:28 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, shallots, garlic bulbs, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, Indian mackerel, pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp670 (2.01%), reaching Rp34,060 per kg. Meanwhile, bulk wheat flour experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp280 (2.75%), reaching Rp9,920 per kg.
