Food Prices Today, January 13, in Central Java: Chicken Meat and Oil Prices Decline

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (January 13, 2026) at 4:17 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 increased and 6 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are Honan garlic, bulk granulated sugar, medium rice, premium rice, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, premium packaged palm cooking oil, red cayenne pepper, and curly red chili have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic saw the highest jump of Rp111 (0.34%) to Rp32,722 per kg. The price of curly red chili dropped the most by Rp1,074 (3.74%) to Rp27,648 per kg.

5. Honan Garlic: Rp32,722 per kg (up 0.34%)
6. Large Red Chili: Rp30,958 per kg (down 1.0%)
7. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,500 per kg (down 0.26%)
8. Curly Red Chili: Rp27,648 per kg (down 3.74%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp21,019 per liter (down 0.09%)
