Today's Food Prices (Jan 13) in West Java: Chicken Meat and Rice Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (Jan 13, 2026) at 15:09 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were curly red chili, Honan garlic, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, shallots, broiler eggs, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp500 (1.4%) to Rp36,300 per kg. As for shallot prices, they dropped the sharpest by Rp200 (0.56%) to Rp35,713 per kg.

7. Honan Garlic: Rp35,600 per kg (up 0.85%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp29,592 per kg (down 0.17%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,408 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,865 per liter (stable)
