Today's Food Prices (17/12) in West Java: Onion and Red Chili Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (17/12/2025) at 18:22 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are broiler eggs, beef hindquarter, and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as imported soybeans, red bird's eye chili, shallots, large red chili, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The beef hindquarter commodity surged the highest by Rp500 (0.37%) to Rp134,375 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp2,000 (3.9%) to Rp49,233 per kg.
