Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Onion Prices Up, Rice Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (August 26, 2025) at 14:18 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 13 increased and 10 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include SPHP rice, packaged cooking oil, Minyakita, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as pure beef, consumption sugar, red cayenne pepper, consumption salt, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Garlic bulb commodity surged the highest by Rp219 (0.68%) to Rp32,230 per kg. Meanwhile, medium rice prices dropped the deepest by Rp242 (1.82%) to Rp13,066 per kg.
