Food Prices in D.I Yogyakarta Region Tuesday (14/10): Rawit Chili Price Rises, Salt Price Drops

The prices of several food items in D.I Yogyakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (14/10/2025) at 02:30 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include garlic cloves, mackerel, dried soybeans (imported), chicken eggs, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, consumption salt, large red chili, Minyakita cooking oil, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp364 (1.1%) to Rp33,455 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of consumption salt dropped most sharply by Rp304 (2.58%) to Rp11,457 per kg.
