Today's Food Prices (18/3) in Lampung: Oil Rises, Bird's Eye Chili Falls

Several food commodity prices in Lampung were observed to increase today compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (March 18, 2026) at 16:48 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases are bulk palm cooking oil, bulk granulated sugar, broiler chicken eggs, beef hindquarters, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as large red chilies, curly red chilies, red bird's eye chilies, and premium packaged palm cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk palm cooking oil saw the highest jump of Rp226 (1.33%) to Rp17,282 per liter. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chili prices fell the steepest by Rp1,194 (1.9%) to Rp61,544 per kg.

2. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp61,544 per kg (down 1.9%)
3. Curly Red Chili: Rp39,861 per kg (down 1.51%)
4. Large Red Chili: Rp38,590 per kg (down 1.12%)
5. Shallots: Rp36,667 per kg (up 0.37%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp36,556 per kg (up 0.12%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp33,440 per kg (unchanged)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,989 per kg (up 0.37%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,656 per liter (down 0.11%)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,467 per kg (up 0.06%)
11. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,282 per liter (up 1.33%)
