Today's Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Sugar Falls

The prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (November 2, 2025) at 2:30 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include farmer-level corn, curly red chili, large red chili, shallots, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic, SPHP rice, mackerel, bulk wheat flour, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili surged the most by Rp1,182 (4.58%) to Rp27,000 per kg. Meanwhile, packaged wheat flour prices fell the sharpest by Rp291 (2.46%) to Rp11,522 per kg.
