Food, Beverage, and Tobacco Prices in Serang City Decreased by 0.09% in April

The prices of components contributing to non-alcoholic beverage inflation in Serang City last April were -0.09%. This figure is lower than the previous month's 0.11%. Among the nine inflation groups measured in this area, the food, beverage, and tobacco group contributed 0.41% to inflation in Serang City.

Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for food, beverages, and tobacco in Serang City was at 104.28 in April 2024, lower than the previous month's 104.37.

Compared to the same month last year, food, beverage, and tobacco inflation has decreased by 10.63% (year-on-year/YoY). Compared to the beginning of the year, the prices of components contributing to inflation in Serang City have grown by 0.71% (year-to-date/YTD).

Compared to the other 11 groups, this inflation group ranks third.
