Latest Food Prices in West Java: Salt Rises, Buffalo Meat Falls

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (11/11/2025) at 08:44 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 20 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are broiler chicken meat, consumption salt, bulk wheat flour, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, packaged wheat flour, red bird's eye chili, skipjack tuna, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,047 (10.28%) to Rp11,231 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) saw the sharpest decrease of Rp105,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
