Today's Food Prices in Jambi: What's the Price of Red Chili Peppers?

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (27/3/2025) at 12:17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, Minyakita (branded cooking oil), skipjack tuna, Indian mackerel, and red chilies (keriting).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, large red chilies, dry soybean (import), and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies (keriting) saw the highest price increase of Rp4,553 (10.57%), reaching Rp47,639 per kg. Large red chilies experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp2,000 (4.0%), reaching Rp48,000 per kg.
