West Java Food Prices, Monday (December 2nd): What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (2/12/2024) at 15.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, farmer-level corn, Indian mackerel, bulk cooking oil, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp480 (8.62%) to Rp6,050 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of chicken eggs decreased the most sharply by Rp280 (1.05%) to Rp26,300 per kg.
