Today's Food Prices (12/12) in East Java: Rice and Onion Prices Decline

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (12/12/2025) at 4:48 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were bulk granulated sugar, broiler eggs, premium packaged palm cooking oil, and bulk palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chilies, curly red chilies, premium rice, shallots, and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler egg commodity saw the highest jump of Rp151 (0.51%) to Rp29,515 per kg. The price of red cayenne pepper saw the deepest decline of Rp4,076 (5.44%) to Rp70,833 per kg.

2. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp70,833 per kg (down 5.44%)
3. Curly Red Chili: Rp61,238 per kg (down 0.93%)
4. Shallots: Rp49,530 per kg (down 0.52%)
5. Large Red Chili: Rp48,136 per kg (down 0.53%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp38,561 per kg (stable)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp30,100 per kg (stable)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp29,515 per kg (up 0.51%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,235 per liter (up 0.15%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,191 per liter (up 0.25%)
11. Minyakita (Cooking Oil): Rp16,536 per liter (stable)
12. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp16,242 per kg (up 0.21%)
13. Premium Rice: Rp14,761 per kg (down 0.03%)
