Food Prices in Jambi on Monday (October 28th): Onion and Oil Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (28/10/2024) at 13.28 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, shallots, bulk cooking oil, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, mackerel, skipjack tuna, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,040 (4.68%) to Rp23,280 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price decrease of Rp410 (1.41%) to Rp28,600 per kg.
