Bali Food Prices Monday (October 14th): Prices of Oil, Salt, and Sugar Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 09.31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, garlic bulbs, milkfish, farmer-level corn, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp680 (12.25%) to Rp6,230 per kg. Skipjack tuna saw the sharpest price drop of Rp4,100 (16.47%) to Rp20,800 per kg.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp20,800 per kg (down 16.47%)
