Today's Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Egg and Chili Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (2/12/2024) at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, SPHP rice, chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, shallots, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp1,720 (7.33%) to Rp25,200 per kg. Shallot prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp1,950 (5.21%) to Rp35,510 per kg.
