Indonesia's Food Prices, Saturday (November 2nd): What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (2/11/2024) at 2:58 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, shallots, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, fine iodized salt, dry soybean (import), and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp360 (1.15%) to Rp31,770 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most, by Rp430 (1.49%) to Rp28,470 per kg.
