Food Prices in West Sumatra Wednesday (5/11), How Much is Buffalo Meat?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (5/11/2025) at 08.01 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumer salt, consumer sugar, SPHP rice, pure beef, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, farmer-level corn, Minyakita, medium rice, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fresh local buffalo meat commodity saw the highest increase of Rp6,667 (4.65%) to Rp150,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red cayenne pepper decreased most significantly by Rp43,500 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
