Jambi Region Food Prices Today: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (28/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, milkfish, curly red chilies, red chilies, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, SPHP rice, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp4,070 (19.09%), reaching Rp25,390 per kg. Meanwhile, iodized fine salt experienced the steepest price drop of Rp1,230 (10.42%), reaching Rp10,570 per kg.
