Aceh Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down (Friday, March 22, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (22/3/2024) at 14:28 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, granulated sugar, medium rice, shallots, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp2,440 (4.88%) to Rp52,440 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of farmer-level corn saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp1,410 (14.33%) to Rp8,430 per kg.
