Medium-Grade I Rice Prices Highest in These 10 Provinces (Wednesday, July 24, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 15,990 per kg for medium-grade I rice (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces as of Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 16,025 per kg.

The daily price of medium-grade I rice in modern markets in Banten was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 17,450 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of medium-grade I rice in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 13,300 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Aceh's modern markets, medium-grade I rice was sold at Rp 16,000 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of medium-grade I rice in Bali was Rp 15,750 per kg, Gorontalo Rp 15,600 per kg, and Jambi Rp 15,600 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are four provinces with medium-grade I rice sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for medium-grade I rice are Gorontalo, Jambi, and DKI Jakarta.
