Today's Food Prices in Indonesia on February 26: Oil and Chicken Meat Prices Drop

Today, the prices of several food commodities in Indonesia are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 26, 2026) at 14:23 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 9 decreased in price.

Commodities with price increases include wheat flour, large red chilies, broiler eggs, premium packaged palm cooking oil, and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as medium rice, beef hindquarter, red cayenne peppers, curly red chilies, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies had the highest price increase of Rp1,879 (4.52%) to Rp43,473 per kg. Curly red chilies had the sharpest price drop of Rp1,236 (2.94%) to Rp40,851 per kg.

5. Curly Red Chilies: Rp40,851 per kg (down 2.94%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40,398 per kg (down 0.13%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp36,638 per kg (up 0.32%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp30,962 per kg (up 0.06%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp21,112 per liter (up 0.02%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,173 per liter (down 0.03%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,823 per kg (up 0.02%)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,947 per liter (unchanged)
13. Premium Rice: Rp15,314 per kg (down 0.02%)
14. Medium Rice: Rp13,650 per kg (down 0.05%)
