East Java Food Prices on Monday (February 3rd): Chili Prices Rise, Salt Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 17:24 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, packaged wheat flour, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and Minyakita cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, large red chilies, iodized fine salt, shallots, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase, up Rp555 (1.83%) to Rp30,907 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the sharpest price drop, down Rp222 (2.3%) to Rp9,420 per kg.
