Food Prices Today (23/12) in Central Java: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Red Chili Down

Food prices in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (23/12/2025) at 13:54 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 6 decreased.

Commodities with price increases are red bird's eye chili, beef hindquarter, curly red chili, and imported soybeans.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots, broiler chicken meat, premium packaged palm cooking oil, medium rice, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp759 (1.36%) to Rp56,426 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili experienced the sharpest drop of Rp1,000 (2.29%) to Rp42,708 per kg.
