Latest West Java Food Prices: What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (9/8/2024) at 08:39 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, pure beef, red chilies, skipjack tuna, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, farmer-level corn, broiler chicken meat, garlic bulbs, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,700 (3.63%), reaching Rp77,010 per kg. Shallots experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,750 (6.85%), reaching Rp23,800 per kg.
