Central Java Food Prices Tuesday (30/7): Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (30/7/2024) at 13:13 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, garlic bulbs, premium rice, red chilies, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp900 (1.3%) to Rp70,360 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp560 (4.69%) to Rp11,370 per kg.
