Food Prices Tuesday (9/9) in Jambi: Bird''s Eye Chili Up, Buffalo Meat Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (9/9/2025) at 11:31 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 5 increased and 18 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include premium rice, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, red bird''s eye chili, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, milkfish, packaged wheat flour, shallots, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Red bird''s eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp1,028 (2.29%) to Rp45,913 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) experienced the deepest drop of Rp12,500 (12.2%) to Rp90,000 per kg.
