Today's Indonesian Food Prices: What's the Price of Water Buffalo Meat?

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (22/4/2025) at 13.17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 21 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are pure beef, milkfish, bulk wheat flour, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, large red chilies, bulk cooking oil, Indian mackerel, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp184 (0.53%) to Rp34,610 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most by Rp3,062 (3.89%) to Rp75,659 per kg.
