Latest Food Prices in West Java: Red Chili Up, Oil Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today were observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (September 14, 2025) at 11.31 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 12 increased and 10 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include curly red chili, garlic, consumption sugar, pure beef, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, dried soybean (imported), and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

The large red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp2,859 (5.85%) to Rp51,694 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil dropped the sharpest by Rp210 (1.15%) to Rp18,115 per liter.
