Information, Communication, and Financial Services Inflation in Semarang City, February: -0.24%

Information and communication equipment expenditure in Semarang City in February decreased by 0.24%. This figure remained stable for the past two months. Among the seven inflation groups measured in this area, the information, communication, and financial services group contributed -0.08% to the regional inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for information, communication, and financial services in Semarang City was at 94.21 in February 2024, lower than the previous month's figure of 94.44.

Compared to the same month last year, inflation in information, communication, and financial services reached 11.49% (year on year/yoy). Compared to the beginning of the year, expenditure in Semarang City experienced a growth of -0.24% (year to date/ytd).

Based on BPS survey data for February 2024, these 11 inflation groups ranked seventh compared to other subgroups.

National inflation (general) in February 2024 was 0.37%, down from the previous month (month to month/m-to-m). Compared to the beginning of the year, national general inflation reached 0.37% (ytd), and compared to February 2023, inflation decreased by 7.52% (yoy).
