Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Rice and Salt Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (25/4/2024) at 16.05 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, milkfish, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, red chilies, iodized fine salt, shallots, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Granulated sugar experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp140 (0.78%) to Rp18,000 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies saw the lowest price decrease, dropping by Rp680 (1.89%) to Rp35,280 per kg.
