Today's Food Prices in Jambi: Prices of Salt, Rice, and Chicken Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (December 2nd, 2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, premium rice, dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, medium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), curly red chilies, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp6,830 (20.05%) to Rp40,900 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the sharpest price drop, decreasing Rp690 (5.92%) to Rp10,970 per kg.
