Food Prices in West Sumatra Thursday (13/11): Chicken Meat Price Increases, Rice Decreases

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (13/11/2025) at 08:01 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include mackerel, SPHP rice, fresh buffalo meat (local), pure beef, and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, consumption salt, premium rice, packaged cooking oil, and consumption sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat commodity surged the highest by Rp5,647 (15.46%) to Rp42,180 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of medium rice dropped the deepest by Rp12,966 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
