According to Michael Page, high salaries in the mining sector are influenced by high commodity prices.
"Significant fluctuations in coal prices have led to increased demand for coal mining experts," said Michael Page in their report.
"Investments in electric vehicles have also driven demand for nickel mining products," they continued.
Michael Page also noted that the mining companies most actively recruiting in Indonesia are in the coal, nickel, and processing plant sectors.
The most sought-after skills are coal mine operations management, nickel mine operations management, and mineral processing.
