Today's Food Price Update in East Java: Prices of Eggs, Rice, and Beef Down (Sunday, April 14, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (14/4/2024) at 12.17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), milkfish, granulated sugar, livestock-grade corn, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, medium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Livestock-grade corn experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp180 (2.69%) to Rp6,880 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease, dropping by Rp3,060 (8.6%) to Rp32,510 per kg.
