East Java Food Price Update Today: Oil and Salt Prices Rise (Monday, March 4, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (4/3/2024) at 09.04 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 16 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), red chilies, dry soybeans (import), skipjack tuna, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, Indian mackerel, farmer-level corn, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp3,320 (11.01%) to Rp33,470 per kg. Farmer-level corn had the lowest price decrease of Rp790 (9.96%) to Rp7,140 per kg.

7. Milkfish: Rp33,140 per kg (up 0.45%)
8. Indian Mackerel: Rp32,550 per kg (down 1.84%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,590 per kg (up 1.53%)
