Current Food Prices in West Java: Oil and Egg Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (7/8/2024) at 08.39 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are pure beef, dry soybean (import), and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, garlic cloves, SPHP rice, curly red chilies, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili pepper prices surged the highest by Rp1,740 (2.27%) to Rp78,320 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices decreased the most sharply by Rp13,260 (31.11%) to Rp29,360 per kg.
