Today's Food Prices December 12 in Central Java: Chicken Meat Up, Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (12/12/2025) at 15:31 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are broiler chicken meat and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red onion, red bird's eye chili, curly red chili, bulk palm cooking oil, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat saw the highest jump of Rp148 (0.38%) to Rp39,111 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili dropped the deepest by Rp6,704 (8.69%) to Rp70,481 per kg.

8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,500 per kg (up 0.25%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,981 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,671 per liter (down 0.15%)
