Price of Premium Quality Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 2:44 PM WIB, the daily price of premium quality granulated sugar in traditional markets in North Sulawesi province has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price developments in the last week.

As for the price in the last month, the daily price of premium quality granulated sugar in traditional markets has not changed from the previous recorded price of Rp17,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of premium quality granulated sugar in traditional markets in North Sulawesi over the last three months has decreased by 5.95%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of premium quality granulated sugar in traditional markets in North Sulawesi province was traded at Rp18,500 per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of premium quality granulated sugar in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2023 with an increase of 19.61%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2019 with a decrease of -31.22%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods today in North Sulawesi province recorded 13 commodities decreasing and 11 others increasing. Staple foods with decreasing prices are Super I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil Type 2, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Red Chili, Local Granulated Sugar, Medium-sized Shallots, Shallots, Super II Quality Rice, Cooking Oil, and Rice.
