Banten Region Food Prices Saturday (18/5), What is the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (18/5/2024) at 16:31 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, garlic bulbs, Indian mackerel, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, medium rice, packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, premium rice, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) prices increased the most by Rp1,330 (11.0%) to Rp13,420 per kg. The price of premium rice decreased the least by Rp300 (2.03%) to Rp14,470 per kg.
