Current Food Prices in D.I Yogyakarta Region: Oil and Salt Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in D.I Yogyakarta today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (October 22, 2025) at 02:30 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include curly red chili, red cayenne pepper, packaged wheat flour, consumption sugar, and Minyakita (cooking oil brand).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots, broiler chicken meat, medium rice, large red chili, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper commodity rose the highest by Rp3,263 (12.09%) to Rp30,263 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices fell the sharpest by Rp1,558 (3.87%) to Rp38,750 per kg.
