Today's Food Prices in Jambi Region: Prices of Oil, Onions, and Chilies Rise

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (22/12/2024) at 17:52 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are red chilies, bulk cooking oil, curly red chilies, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, broiler chicken meat, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp460 (1.4%) to Rp33,410 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots experienced the largest price decrease of Rp160 (0.4%) to Rp39,820 per kg.
