Food, Beverage, and Tobacco Inflation in Tembilahan, April: 0.88%

The price of components contributing to inflation in cigarettes and tobacco in Tembilahan in April was 0.88%. This figure is lower than the previous month's 2.19%. Among the seven inflation groups measured in this area, the food, beverage, and tobacco group contributed 0.51% to regional inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for food, beverages, and tobacco in Tembilahan was at 115.06 in April 2024, higher than the previous month's 114.06.

Compared to the same month last year, inflation for food, beverages, and tobacco has fallen by 13.96% (year-on-year/YoY). Meanwhile, compared to the beginning of the year, the prices of components contributing to inflation in Tembilahan have grown by 3.08% (year-to-date/YTD).

This sub-group inflation experienced the second-highest increase compared to other contributing sub-groups.
