Latest Food Prices in West Java: Bird''s Eye Chili Prices Rise, Cooking Oil Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (September 10, 2025) at 10:22 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include corn at the farmer level, broiler eggs, dried soybeans (imported), packaged cooking oil, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, mackerel, bulk cooking oil, Minyakita, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Corn at the farmer level saw the highest surge of Rp280 (4.81%) to Rp6,100 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices saw the sharpest drop of Rp1,463 (3.91%) to Rp35,921 per kg.
