Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Onions Up, Salt Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (2/1/2025) at 11:57 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, SPHP rice, shallot bulbs, red onions, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, pure beef, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp6,080 (19.3%) to Rp37,580 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fine iodized salt decreased the most by Rp3,880 (25.03%) to Rp11,620 per kg.
