The daily price of medium-quality rice in traditional markets in West Papua Province has decreased by 2.59% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:45 WIB, the daily price of medium-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in West Papua Province showed no change compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

However, compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-quality grade I rice in traditional markets has increased from Rp16,950.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in West Papua over the past three months has decreased by 1.16%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of medium-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in West Papua Province is traded at Rp17,250.

The record high for the daily price of medium-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2018 with an increase of 31.58%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in December 2018 at -13.64%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Papua show three commodities decreased and 21 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium-Quality Grade II Rice, and daily Curly Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province.
