Price of Green Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets in Central Java province was observed to drop by Rp700 compared to the previous day to Rp44,450 per kg.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets decreased from the previously recorded Rp45,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets in Central Java over the past three months has increased by 57.9% from the previously traded price of Rp28,150 per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2020 with an increase of 65.17%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2020 with a decrease of -33.64%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods today in Central Java recorded nine commodities decreasing and 21 others increasing. The staple foods with decreasing prices are Grade I Super Quality Rice, Grade I Low-Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Grade I Medium Quality Rice, Grade 2 Beef, Grade II Medium Quality Rice, Grade 1 Beef, Beef, and Rice.
